Areas like Mexico offer perfect apple picking in the fall. Winter brings some of the best snowmobiling in the State, with plenty of annual snow fall and access to the State trail system that leads to the Tug Hill and Adirondack Park areas. Ice climbing is a unique recreation available through the Salmon River Falls. Snowshoeing, dog-sledding and cross-country skiing are also popular.
